Help support the efforts of Community Connection of Northeast Oregon to assist families in Union County facing home heating emergencies, during the 9th annual Union County Walk for Warmth.

The thought of going through winter with little or no heat is chilling. But for too many Union County families, it’s reality!

This astonishingly harsh winter has taken a serious toll on our most vulnerable neighbors, including children, elderly, and disabled, and low income, working families that can’t afford to pay their heating bills and/or who are facing other home heating emergencies. Folks who may not qualify for federal heating assistance programs, sometimes by only a few dollars, but who are struggling to stay warm. Our neighbors who would otherwise “fall through the cracks” without our efforts.

Please open you hearts and your wallets and help support this year’s Union County Walk for Warmth.

Join us on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at the Union County Senior Center, 1504 Albany Street, in La Grande.
