Cook Memorial Library is currently displaying artwork by local artist, Theresa Henderson. The show titled “Dreamscapes” features Henderson’s fluid art paintings. “We are delighted to have these beautiful paintings on display as we welcome patrons back into the building,” says library director, Kip Roberson.
Theresa Jordan Henderson was raised in La Grande. Her art exploration began 15 years ago. Fluid art is her favorite method of translating the essence of her travel experiences through color, movement, textures, and experimentation with techniques. Being creative is a pathway to her heart and soul. Henderson is also an instructor and past board member at Art Center East.
Henderson’s paintings will be on display at Cook Memorial Library through the end of December. The library is now open to the public. Check their web page at www.cookmemoriallibrary.org for current hours. The library is located at 2006 Fourth Street in La Grande.
