Elgin High School’s new football scoreboard is now up… replacing an aging one that had been used for about 25 years. The scoreboard was purchased with funding donated by Pepsi, Les Schwab, Boise Cascade and Loveland Funeral Chapel. Electrical work was done by Oregon Trail Electric Co-op free of charge. The old The old scoreboard was experiencing frequent electrical problems. Sometimes the visitors’ half would go out, disrupting games. School officials say the old scoreboard had outlived its usefulness.
