A noisy leaf blower lead to a hatchet attack, and jail time for an Oregon transient. A homeless man… Nathan Schrader… who was angry over a noisy leaf blower, swung a hatchet at the head of a maintenance worker in downtown Portland. Schrader was sentenced Tuesday to 30 days in jail and order to receive drug treatment. Shrader already has served 55 days in jail since his arrest back in December, and was expected to be released late Tuesday. Fortunately, the victim escaped serious injury, but if that had happened, Shrader could have faced decades in prison.
