A missing six-year-old boy from Utah who was taken by his mother could be in Oregon. Police say Emily Jolley and her son, Terran Butler, were spotted with another woman, 56-year-old Bonnie Jackson. According to investigators Jolley and Jackson are part of an extremist group. The women may be traveling with Terran in a blue 2015 Honda Civic with the Utah license plate X-3-1-7-1-W-W.

A class-action lawsuit has been filed against Pacific Power over the wildfires. Two people who owned a home and property that burned in the town of Lyons contend the utility company did not shut down its power lines, despite receiving warnings about extreme fire conditions over Labor Day weekend.

A new report out today shows just how catastrophic Oregon’s wildfires have been from a financial perspective. The Oregon Office of Economic Analysis found wildfires burned through nearly one-billion dollars-worth of homes and belongings in September. State analysts estimate about four-thousand homes were lost in the fires.
