Developers now hope to turn dilapidated building that has stood for nearly 100 years into something brand new. Work is underway to restore the Lottes Building at 1413 Adams Ave. in La Grande into a hub that could potentially house up to six businesses. The project received a shot in the arm worth $75,000 from the Urban Renewal Agency last month after earning the highest score of the six projects the URA considered. The 6,600 square foot building was originally built back in 1925, but it’s been vacant for at least the last decade, and it has been damaged… everything in it needs to be replaced.
