Three Oregon State Police troopers suffered minor injuries arresting a 15-year-old in downtown Portland who was armed with a handgun, metal knuckles and a knife. Police responded where the teen was pointing the gun at people. When officers tried to arrest the teen, a hostile crowd surrounded them and started throwing things, including a glass bottle that shattered on an officer’s helmet. The gun turned out to be a pellet gun. The teen was detained and turned over to his parents.
