According to La Grande Police, on July 25, 2019 at approximately 11:10PM, a La Grande resident reported that she had been robbed by three unknown masked suspects inside of her home in the 600 block of 16th Street.

The victim reported that she was inside her home when the three unknown suspects forced their way inside and robbed her at gunpoint with a small handgun. The suspects reportedly left the residence on foot and were last seen traveling north on 16th Street.

All three suspects were described as tall, light skinned young adult males, wearing bandanas over their faces, and baggy blue jeans. Two of them were reported to have been wearing grey hoodies and one was wearing a black hoodie.

Initial investigation suggests that this was not a random criminal act, as information has been received indicating that the suspects were looking for something and/or someone specific.

Officers from the La Grande Police Department were assisted with the initial investigation by deputies from the Union County Sheriff’s Office and troopers from the Oregon State Police. At the time of this release the suspects have not been located. Investigators have leads they are following up on and the investigation is ongoing.
