On Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at approximately 1747 hours, a Union County Sheriff’s deputy observed 27-year-old La Grande resident Trevor Dale Frizzel in a vehicle at the intersection of Monroe Avenue and Greenwood Street in La Grande. Frizzel had an Oregon State Parole Board warrant for his arrest.

Frizzel fled on foot from the vehicle and the deputy gave chase. Additional resources responded to assist and a containment area was established. Law enforcement officers from the Union County Sheriff’s Office, the La Grande Police Department, and the Oregon State Police were involved in the containment and search for Frizzel.

At 1804 hours, Frizzel was located inside of the Dusty Spur Café at 1502 S Avenue in La Grande. Frizzel was taken into custody without any further resistance. He was lodged in the Union County Jail on the Parole Board Warrant, a Detention Warrant for violating terms of his parole with Union County Community Corrections, and for Escape III.

At 1821 hours, shortly after Frizzel’s arrest, 28-year-old La Grande resident Elizabeth Rose Morgan-Willis, who was an occupant in the vehicle that Frizzel fled from, was also arrested. Morgan-Willis was arrested without incident and lodged in the Union County Jail on a Detention Warrant for violating the terms for her probation with Union County Community Corrections.
