The Imbler School District’s $500,000 septic system replacement project is nearing completion. School officials say there is a good chance the system will be finished by September. The upgrade was needed because there have been problems in recent years operating the elementary and high school septic systems when the water table rises. The problem became so bad in the spring of 2017 that students and staff at Imbler High School had to use portable restrooms from mid-March through May.
