In La Grande, some people reported a milky substance in their drinking water. According to the La Grande Public Works Department, it apparently happened when one of the wells got clogged with sediment. The well has been flushed and tested and has been verified safe for drinking. Anyone who still has a problem, should simply run their water until it clears.
