According to school officials, North Powder School District is not worried about a partly constructed new high school and gym as we head into the winter season. They say that the work that was started back in May, will most likely not be negatively impacted by the cold weather that is coming, because both buildings will be weatherized soon. Heating and ventilation systems will be in place to allow the wood flooring to be brought in and acclimated before being installed.
