If you are one of those people who re-purpose plastic shopping bags, you better start saving them now. Soon, they will no longer be available anywhere in the state of Oregon. A bill is expected to be signed by Governor Kate Brown that would make Oregon the 4th state to place an outright ban on single use plastic bags. The other 3 states that have already done it are California, New York and Hawaii. The governor is said to be supportive of the measure.
