Pfize is searching for volunteers in Portland to test a potential vaccine for COVID-19. The company selected the city to participate in the phase three trial as part of a worldwide study. They need one-hundred people between the ages of 18 and 85, who will either be given a dose of the vaccine or a placebo. Data collected from the trial will go to the federal government in October.
