Oregon is giving 500 dollars to 70-thousand Oregonians waiting for unemployment benefits. Oregon residents who made less than 48-thousand dollars a year before the pandemic and have yet to receive unemployment benefits are eligible. The Legislature’s Emergency Board approved 35-million dollars for the emergency check program in July.
