The Center for Human Development Public Health has announced the first COVID-19 related death in Union County…. a 90-year-old woman who tested positive on June 13 and died on June 25th at Grande Ronde Hospital. She had underlying conditions. The Union County Incident Management Team will be holding a community briefing on Tuesday at 6pm so county leaders can answer questions that have been surfacing locally regarding COVID-19. Due to physical distancing requirements, the briefing will be provided virtually and live-streamed on the NE Oregon Joint Information Center Facebook page.
